Why AURALiC
Established in 2009, AURALiC has been at the forefront of driving innovation in high-performance music reproduction technology for over a decade. Inspired by a Berliner Philharmoniker concert in Waldbühne Berlin in 2008, AURALiC's founders, passionate classical music enthusiasts, embarked on a journey to create a company dedicated to providing a genuinely high-resolution music streaming solution. This vision materialized over the following years.
As pioneers of music streaming products, in 2010, we introduced the ARK MX, the world's first asynchronous USB DAC capable of playing 32bit/192kHz files. Following this success, the VEGA DAC was launched in 2012, becoming the world's first USB DAC to play DSD128 files. Winning numerous audio industry awards from 2012 to 2017, the VEGA solidified the USB DAC as a category for audio products.
Since 2014, AURALiC has been a trailblazer in the audio streaming industry. The introduction of the ARIES, capable of turning any DAC into a streamer, created the Streaming Bridge category. The ARIES accomplished wireless streaming of PCM up to 384 kHz and DSD256, a groundbreaking achievement.
From 2017 onwards, our G series products, including the G1, G2, and G3 product lines, have represented the cutting edge in streaming technology. Committed to continuous innovation, we aspire to lead technological advancements in playback systems for decades to come.
In 2023, AURALiC is unveiling four new products: ARIES G2.2, VEGA G2.2, ARIES G3, and VEGA G3. These products signify a generational shift in technology while preserving the elegant design of the G series UnityChassis II. In a significant milestone, the G2.2 and G3 products are designed in the USA, with the ARIES G3 and VEGA G3 being hand-built in AURALiC's Oregon facility. This commitment ensures that our products remain at the forefront of innovation, delivering the highest quality audio experience.

AURALiC’s Lightning streaming platform is the most advanced ecosystem for streaming products. It includes our Lightning Server, Lightning Link Connection, and Lightning DS Control for complete system integration. This sophisticated system can monitor locally stored music and make it available alongside your streaming subscriptions. Using our intuitive control app, you can then play to any AURALiC product on your network. Our software team developed the Lightning streaming platform in-house and continually updates and refines it to keep your system current in our ever-changing world.
Originating in Beijing China, AURALiC has steadily grown and now has an additional office in Portland Oregon as well as specialized staff across North America and Europe.
